BandGeek by IDA MediaFoundry
Sep/090
BandGeek is an internal project from iDA MediaFoundry with the purpose
to explore the Flash Catalyst – Flex 4 workflow.
The design was made in Photoshop, this design was then pushed in
Catalyst where most of the components were made and the
project was then imported in Flash Builder. The big advantage here is
that the programmer could already start on writing the api
and just “plug it in” when the catalyst code was ready.
BandGeek is an Adobe Air application which gives you (almost any)
information there is to find on the web about your favorite bands or
artists with on simple click.
The user fills in the band or artist (and if desired also a song
title) and BandGeek will give you the lyrics, band info, discography,
images, video clips, similar artists and a tour schedule.
Also, you can get a list of guitar tabs and chords which can be played
with an internal player. So guitar players will love this application
too.
If you like music, you have to try this application. You can find more
information and the download at http://www.ida-mediafoundry.be/bandgeek
